Friends of Huntley Meadows: Providing art kits for a children's nature journaling class
ALIVE!, Inc.: Expanding their children's health and fitness program through playground improvements and a weekly healthy eating and nutrition curriculum called CDC Healthy Kids and Color Me Healthy
Healthy Families Alexandria: Supporting staff time for child development and early literacy activities during home visits with vulnerable first time parents in the Healthy Families program.
Wright to Read: Training and supporting 40 volunteer tutor/mentors for 40 newly referred elementary school students who are reading significantly below grade level.
Child and Family Network Centers: Providing a preschool teacher in a new preschool classroom in the Chirilagua neighborhood.
